LINC Literacy Mind Map Course Design.
Who: Four Niagara College post-graduate students: Faith Marcel, Pamela Smalley, Elliott Moglica and Carolina Cruz.

When: March 2007.

What: Designed this mind map for a LINC Literacy Course.

Why: To complete a group project assigned by Prof. Charles Voth during the Curriculum Design course.

Legend of the "Mind Map Course" explanation:
  • Bridge = Represents the skills incorporated into this course.
  • Sections of the bridge = Represent each skill to be learned during this course
  • Waves = Represent themes. 
  • Fish = Represent topics. 
  • East side ground = Represents the learners prior knowledge (before the start of the course) 
  • West side ground = Represents the learners affective goals (end of the course).
  • Maple leaves = Represent the course goals and new attitudes. 
  • Sun = Represents the learners’ future dreams.
